Welcome to ESSD, LLC! We are a mobile swallow study service located on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay in Alabama, proudly serving select areas of Alabama, Mississippi and the Florida panhandle. We specialize in Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing, also known as “FEES”. We are a patient-centered, cost-effective and research-based alternative to the traditional Modified Barium Swallow Study.

We bring our equipment directly to your patient’s bedside to perform the evaluation. We provide you with real-time imaging, immediate test results, and detailed written reports with images on the same day the study is performed…all of this for approximately one-fourth of the cost of a Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBSS).
